Who Should Enroll?
This course is for licensed security professionals who are required to maintain their BSIS firearms certification. Participants must meet BSIS eligibility requirements to attend.
Certification: Upon successful completion, participants will fulfill the BSIS firearms requalification requirements.
Duration: Approximately 3-4 hours
Format: In-person, simulator-based training

We understand that sometimes it is necessary to cancel registrations. Therefore, cancellations made less than seventy-two (72) hours before the start date will not be refunded. If you would like to reschedule for a future class, please notify us at least seventy-two (72) hours before the class date to avoid charges. If you reschedule within twenty-four (24) hours of a registered class date, you will be charged 50% of the full price.

Guardian Training Center’s Intro to Handgun Class is designed for beginners, focusing on building confidence, safety, and responsible firearm handling. Participants will receive expert instruction, starting with handgun mechanics and safety protocols, followed by hands-on training and interactive firearm simulator exercises. By the end of the class, you’ll have the skills and confidence to handle a handgun safely, whether for home protection or recreational shooting.
